Splits vs. Real Life

Our field research confirms what we have long suspected: while the ability to perform the splits is technically impressive, it provides zero practical advantage in everyday life. The evidence is overwhelming.

Official DUF Finding — Case #2024-001

Subject "Bob" (age 54) was observed performing unsolicited full splits at a neighborhood barbecue, a company picnic, and reportedly during a parent-teacher conference. While no physical harm was caused, the emotional damage to surrounding middle-aged men was significant and measurable.

Witnesses reported feelings of inadequacy, sudden awareness of their own hamstring limitations, and an overwhelming urge to "just try it" — resulting in three (3) pulled muscles and one (1) emergency room visit.

CONFIRMED: EXCESSIVE FLEXIBILITY

See Something? Say Something.

If you or someone you know is displaying signs of Excessive Flexibility Syndrome (EFS), do not panic. Do not attempt to stretch. Contact the DUF and let the professionals handle it.
